There’s a difference between

Being unique

And being alone

There’s a difference between

Living on the street

And living on the road

But there ain’t a difference

In the thoughts we hide within

And the venom in our tongues

There ain’t a difference

In the veins that line our skin

Or the breath in our lungs

I know a day is coming soon, yeah

When we’ll all realize

There’s light in me,

there’s also light in you

If we’d open our eyes...

There’s a difference between

Drawing a circle

And drawing a line

There’s a difference between

Surrendering yourself and

Sacrificing your life

But there ain’t a difference

In the dirt that lies beneath us

Or the sky up above

There ain’t a difference

In the molecules of sunlight

Showering us with endless love

I know a day is coming soon, yeah

When we’ll all realize

Believe in me,

‘Cause I believe in you

No difference in our eyes...
