Cup Overflowing

If cabin pressure falls

Oxygen mask will drop

Make sure your mask’s secure

Pull that elastic tight

‘Cause you might run out of air

Before you help your friend

Seems like a selfish act

What about that Golden Rule?

But you can’t help someone

When your running out of air

So take some time to breathe it in

What does your dashboard say?

Where is your gas gauge at?

400 miles to E

Or do you coast on fumes?

You won’t get very far

Unless you exit right

But you’re making real good time

Can’t stop to take a break

But you can’t get back home

When your tank is outta gas

So take some time to fill it up

A wise one told me always

check what’s in my cup

Keep it replenished,

never finish all you got

She said I can’t pour nothing

from the foamy dregs

Skim from the top,

make sure your cup still overflows

Make sure your battery’s charged

Don’t wait to plug it in

You’re on low power mode

You’re down to 1 percent…
